Movie Review
The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian (2008) Starring: Georgie Henley, Ben Barnes, Skandar Keynes, William Moseley, Anna Popplewell Synopsis:The Kings and Queens of Olde are called upon once more to help with aiding the rightful King to take his place on the throne. One Thousand years have passed since the children first walked through the wardrobe and now they are back to save Narnia. Review:
The second installment of "The Chronicles of Narnia" was in no way a disappointment. As with all books turned to film there are a few issues with fitting the entire story into a film. The special effects play an important part in the film with character creation and of course the epic battle which is bound to occur. The scenery is beautiful as Narnia is bound to be with all the magic floating around. The actors have all improved since the last film and I was not as annoyed by their performances in this installment. As a fantasy film fan and a lover of Narnia; Prince Caspian did not disappoint and I look forward to the next one. Quotes:
Lucy Pevensie: I was so tall.
Susan Pevensie: Well, you were older then.
Edmund Pevensie: As opposed to hundreds of years later, when you're younger.
Prince Caspian: I am not the one who abandoned Narnia.
Peter Pevensie: No, you invaded Narnia.
Trufflehunter: Enough, Nikabrik! Or do I have to sit on your head again?
Prince Caspian: I wish we could have had more time together.
Susan Pevensie: We never would have worked, anyway.
Prince Caspian: Why not?
Susan Pevensie: Well, I am 1300 years older than you.
Pattertwig the Squirrel: We could gather nuts!
Reepicheep: Yes! And then throw them at the Telmarines!
Prince Caspian: I thought you'd be older.
Peter Pevensie: Well if you'd like we can leave and come back in a few years. Rating:
